Owl-o-ween! at Richardson Nature Center

  • Richardson Nature Center 8737 East Bush Lake Road Bloomington, Minnesota, 55438 United States (map)

This outing is appropriate for all birders! We will be listening and watching for owls (and coyotes!). Learn how to be a responsible Owler, when the best time to hear and possibly see these enigmatic birds, and what owls call Minnesota home.

Good to Know:

  • We will be standing for long periods to listen for owls.

  • Dress for the weather and bring a headlamp or flashlight.

  • Individuals under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

  • We will meet outside, in front of the Nature Center.

  • Accessibility description: The parking lot is paved. The wooded trail is hilly with wood chips, some areas of this trail are packed dirt and small rocks.

  • There are a couple of benches on the trail.

  • There are bathrooms inside the entrance of the nature center that are usually open in the evenings.

Please contact Stephanie Roettger (fieldtrips@llbirdalliance.org) with questions.

Registration for this free event is required.
