This course will introduce and instill the birding basics of: binocular use, tuning your sight and hearing to find birds, terminology for bird body parts and ID, using general impression, size and shape, using field guide books, field guide apps, and the Merlin app. We are not looking to find as many different species as possible during the course. We will practice these birding basics with the common birds seen in metro area parks. Join us for this BEGINNING BIRDER course and see your city in a different way.
