Earth Day Book Club: A Feathered River Across the SKy

Land of Lakes Bird Alliance invites you to participate in our spring book club and Earth Day webinar. This year, we visit the theme of anthropogenic extinction through Joel Greenberg’s book, A Feathered River Across the Sky: The Passenger Pigeon’s Flight to Extinction

We are pleased to host Mr. Greenberg in conversation with Minnesota’s own Laura Erickson, award winning writer, birder, and ornithologist on Wednesday, April 23 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Central.

Please register for our free, public program and read the book. Submit questions about the book for Dr. Greenberg to contact@llbirdalliance.org by April 12th.

Joel Greenberg is a research associate of the Chicago Academy of Sciences Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and the Field Museum. Author of three books, including A Natural History of the Chicago Region, Greenberg has taught natural history courses for the Morton Arboretum, Brookfield Zoo, and Chicago Botanic Garden.
